This years' MBNA Design Contest was quite a success! After receiving more entries than ever before, the convention attendees were almost drooling over the quality of work that was submitted. The following winners were announced at the 2018 MBUniversity conference that was held in Irving, Texas just last weekend. You will soon find the entries on the website and social media sites!
On December 7th, 2017, our advocate, Marilyn Harris-Davis, represented Monument Builders of North America and our MBAdvocacy program, as a Silver Sponsor, at the Maryland Cemetery, Funeral and Cremation Association’s 10th Annual Holiday Gathering. The evening was full of delicious food and great company as MCFCA members, non-members, and guests gathered together to celebrate the holiday season.

One of the reasons cited for choosing cremation instead of traditional burial is the ever growing cost of items like the monument. Offering a convenient affordable monthly installment to customers has never been an easily available option for our industry…until now.
Monument Builders of North America is proud to announce our latest offering in partnership with Time Investment Company, Inc. (TIC). TIC is a family owned and operated lender providing exceptional customer service and a reliable source of funding to each of their dealers. They have made quality products more affordable to consumers since 1982, and are proud to offer funding of memorial purchases nationwide.
You Can Make an Impact
Planning has begun for when next year’s leaders are installed at the 2018 MBUniversity Conference. As part of its recent strategic planning sessions, the association leadership has identified Four Pillars of Leadership to guide us to continued success. We want YOU to be a part of MBNA’s evolution. The Four Pillars of Leadership, led by the four Vice Presidents of MBNA, will consist of Membership Care & Engagement, Member Education, Marketing & Communications, and Advocacy Efforts. Instead of having committees for committee’s sake, the vice presidents will be given the power to gather peers or form focus groups to solve problems or facilitate programs as needed.
