From Monuments to Meaning: How Facebook Can Help You Serve and Be Seen

Most monument companies know they should be on Facebook — but many aren’t sure what to post or how to connect with their communities.

In this session, Dr. Jason Troyer, a grief educator who has managed Facebook accounts for 150+ deathcare businesses, will share how to use Facebook the right way. You’ll learn how to post grief support resources, highlight community events, and partner with local businesses in ways that build trust and visibility. This session will show how authentic, compassionate communication on Facebook not only strengthens your brand, but can also lead to more word-of-mouth referrals and long-term customer relationships.

Learning Objectives:

1) Understand the role that Facebook plays in the social media landscape as a resource for consumers to self-educate before making purchasing decisions.

2) Identify the key elements of an effective Facebook strategy for monument builders that balances product visibility with authentic community connection.

3) Learn how grief education, local partnerships, and compassionate messaging can increase engagement, trust, and word-of-mouth referrals.

StoneSpot - Setting the Standard for Order Management Software

This webinar is open to both MBNA members and non-members.

In this webinar, we’ll demonstrate how StoneSpot helps monument shops manage orders more efficiently from first approval through final delivery. You’ll see how teams can quickly understand where every order is in the shop, streamline client approvals, and keep work moving without relying on spreadsheets or paper trails.

We’ll walk through recent enhancements such as digitized contracts, built-in communication tools that keep all customer conversations tied directly to the order, and integrated payment processing that connects seamlessly with accounting systems like QuickBooks Online. We’ll also highlight how StoneSpot’s cloud-based platform and redesigned interface support faster workflows, clearer visibility, and better coordination across the entire order lifecycle.

Our Speakers:

Brian Rowley is the owner of StoneSpot and has spent more than 20 years in the monument industry. His career began as a granite importer, followed by producing MB Films for the MBNA, before spending the last 11 years focused on delivering thoughtful, practical software solutions for the industry he knows so well. A natural visionary, Brian is always exploring new technologies and ideas to help monument shops work more efficiently and serve families better. Outside of work, he’s a devoted ocean lover who can often be found on his surfboard in the early mornings. Brian and his wife, Missy, are parents to four children and feel privileged to work in an industry where so many clients have become close friends.

Missy Rowley has worked alongside Brian for much of their time in the monument industry, while also building a career that spans finance, operations, and consulting. She previously served as CFO/COO for a company she helped lead through a successful sale in 2021 and now works as a consultant to several small, family-owned businesses through her role at an equity firm. Missy is deeply passionate about helping businesses succeed by supporting the founders who invest so much of themselves into building and growing their companies. With a background in finance and accounting, she brings valuable perspective and practical expertise to the support StoneSpot provides its clients. Outside of work, Missy stays busy with her kids and community involvement, enjoys long morning and evening walks, and considers time with family her highest priority.

Lead with Awareness: Understanding Leadership Styles to Strengthen Teams & Results

Leadership requires more than experience or authority. It requires awareness. In this 2 PM ET webinar hosted by WinMBNA, Denise Tallcott helps leaders understand how their leadership style, communication habits, and personal wiring shape team culture, trust, and performance.

Through real stories, practical frameworks, and guided reflection, participants identify their natural leadership tendencies, better understand the styles of others, and learn how to flex their approach while staying authentic. Leaders gain clarity on how awareness improves communication, reduces tension, and strengthens results.

Denise is excited to join us and is truly humbled to get to walk alongside this leadership journey with each and every one of us.

Our Speaker:

It’s about discovering a new sense of self-worth, unlocking your hidden potential, and reigniting a fresh passion for life. Her approach is filled with empathy, optimism, and a deep belief in people, and her mission is to help you become the best version of yourself—both personally and professionally.
