MBNA awarded Summit Memorials the Design Award for the Large Monument category. Kenneth Noon crafted their 7’8” tall, 8’ long All Steeled Georgia Gray granite Hunter family monument. After touring historic cemeteries in the United States and Europe, the Hunters looked for a memorialist able to match old-time craftsmanship skills with modern-day equipment capabilities. The Summit Memorials team took approximately six months to complete “one of the most challenging but rewarding memorials.”

They believe that memorials should tell a story and reflect the life of the deceased. The customization process includes multiple renderings, a final selection, on-site carving, and more to obtain these personalized and meaningful monuments.
