Who is eligible for MBNA membership?
Membership options are available for monument retailers, suppliers, manufacturers, wholesalers, and companies who have an interest in the memorialization industry (affiliates). You can find a full list of membership requirements here or contact MBNA staff at info@monumentbuilders.org for help determining which membership type our company qualifies for.
How long does it take for my membership to be activated?
All members can start accessing benefits such as free webinars, MBNews magazines, membership directory, discount offers and free Fundamentals training course in the Monument Builder Academy at the time of their application since they have created a website username and password.
However, retailer member applications are reviewed by MBNA retail members during a 10-day comment period. Only comments related to the Code of Good Practice are considered. At the end of the 10 days, your membership will be activated or reviewed by the membership committee, depending on the comments received.
Supplier/bronze and Manufacturer/wholesaler members do not require a 10-day comment period, but please allow 1-2 business days for processing.
How long is my membership valid?
The MBNA membership year runs from July 1 – June 30, annually. Membership begins when you join and must be renewed by June 30 of each year to remain in good standing and to continue receiving your member benefits.
Does this mean I pay for a whole year of membership, even if I join halfway through the year?
A full year of membership dues must be paid at the time submitting your application. However, we will prorate your first renewal invoice based on the month in which you join.

How many employees are able to access member benefits and receive MBNA communications?
All employees at a member company are able to create a membership account in the member portal and utilize member benefits such as free webinars, MBNews magazines, membership directory, discount offers and free Fundamentals training course in the Monument Builder Academy.
The company’s main contact, known as the company admin, can add/remove staff members at any time through the member portal. Instructions for adding staff can be found here.
